OSPRI Annual Report 2019-2020

Project Description

OSPRI’s primary role is to help protect and enhance the reputation of New Zealand’s primary industries - NAIT and TBfree are programmes of OSPRI.

This financial year (2019-2020) saw new changes for OSPRI as an organisation which sparked a fresh approach to the annual report.

The Objective:

As the graphic designer, Eden Design was briefed to capture fresh changes within OSPRI, and to design a visually compelling annual report to enhance readership.

The Solution:

An engaging 92 page annual report that uses infographics to highlight important and sometimes complex information to the reader. Graphic design elements were drawn from OSPRIs "One OSPRI" internal campaign to reinforce the fresh changes during the year. Compelling photography has been used to personalise the report and put a face to farmers' environment. Sections within the document are colour coded, designed for easy navigation and to reflect the three key areas of OSPRI:

  1. Disease management
  2. Traceability programme
  3. Corporate enablers

This document is also supported by an additional designed 24 page full report: the Consolidated Financial Statements.

We’ve been fortunate at OSPRI to have had Eden Design’s support for a number of years. We have since built up an excellent relationship where their understanding of our brand and expectations and is second to none. Working with Hannah at Eden design on our rebranding project was fantastic, so much so that we continue to work with her on our business as usual design. Her real understanding of our business goals was a huge benefit, as was her ability to translate those into design solutions as we went through a company rebrand. Hannah was able to deliver brilliant solutions that really captured the business’ direction and brand across a variety of mediums. These included printed brochures, factsheets, flyers, newsletters, digital and print advertising.
