Jacinta photo

Jacinta

Instructional designer (e-learning)
Jacinta is well known for her work in Articulate Storyline, sharing complex game templates with the e-learning community and in demand to run training courses for organisations such as Telecom, Auckland Council and New Zealand Police as well as several government agencies. She has spoken at conferences in New Zealand and overseas, as well as running instructional design courses. Instructional design hovers in the medium between art and science - analysing both the problem we want the learning to solve, and our learner profile. Jacinta then uses her creativity, experience and learning theory to work out what will be most engaging and relevant to the learner and, at the same time, get the results our clients are looking for. Over time Jacinta has become more and more passionate about engaging and effective learning design and upskilling our learning and development professionals. In her spare time, she likes to learn new technology and grow plants in her vertical farm using sheep's wool.
