Project Description

SK Bakery were a well-established bakery / cafe's in the Otaki community. With their goal to open a new shop, they wanted to solve some recognition issues with their business as they looked to their next growth phase.

The Objective:

Create a company name that people no longer find difficult to remember; create a memorable brand that communicates the quality of food already being produced that was previously unknown.

The Idea:

Kiss & Bakeup produce good honest food, made from scratch - with real ingredients. There's no fake banana essence, just 2kg's of pure mushy banana's.

The Solution:

Kiss & Bakeup's newly branded bakery / cafe has opened successfully in Waikanae. The project included recognisable shop signage, a colour consultant for interior brand colours, and stationery and product labelling - all consistent with the look and feel of their new brand.

When we decided earlier this year to open another bakery/cafe we felt it was time for a whole new look and feel for our shops. I must confess that it was quite an unnerving time putting our business in someone else’s hands for the first time, but Hannah was completely professional, and inspired confidence right from the first meeting. We asked Hannah to help us with a new name, logo, catch phrase, uniforms, store concept, pavement signs, shop signage – basically the works! She worked hard to find out exactly what we wanted to project to our customers, and worked the whole project around this. Hannah presented such fantastic designs that at times it was hard to choose which one to go with. Quite simply we are absolutely thrilled with the results of Hannah’s work, and three weeks after opening our new outlet I am pleased to report that our customers are loving it also. Eden Design has taken our business to a new level, and I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Hannah’s work to anyone.
