Te Niwha have been in a rewarding and trusted relationship with Eden Design [...]. Following the recent pandemic, we are acutely aware within our mandate of infectious diseases research the significance of communication tools such as websites, letterheads and signs.
Our requirements for our online presence via our website and newsletter were unique in what we wanted to portray and the level of engagement across not just researchers, research institutions and health organisations – but our aesthetics and information need to reach and resonate with communities.
Together with [Eden Design], Te Niwha designed a brand that truly gives effect to our strategic direction and our values and principles. To begin our relationship, [Eden Design] was trusted to breath life into our Kawenata (Charter) by illuminating and paying communicative significance to our Vision and Mission, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our Values and Principles. The outcome is a document that is enduring.
Our full website (and our temporary landing page) captures the essence across our research priorities and even its design capture each priority area, our team, our strategic direction and news very well. To support our (small) team to independently be able to proactively update our website – Hannah and the team from Eden Design provided Te Niwha will sharp training. We are well equipped to manage our communication tools – with maybe the odd user error call back to Hannah.
Naturally, based on the trusted relationship with Hannah and Eden Design we engaged again. The timeframe for this work was extremely tight to the extent that the cover photo was taken the day before. The result was an outstanding publication. Hannah supported our team with redesigning tables and complex schematics to be reader and print friendly, provided advice and truly delivered beyond our expectations – given the ask.

The Medical Council has recently had the pleasure of working with Hannah Faulke of Eden Design to develop a set of posters to communicate important and encouraging training information to staff.
Part of our brief to Hannah was to bring new ideas to us from an external point of view. Her first design proposal hit the nail on the head, which was a fantastic result for the project to move quickly, and showed that Hannah understood what was wanted.

When ikeGPS transitioned it’s marketing management from NZ to being based in the US, we retained the service of Eden Design. We’ve found the time zone difference to be an distinct advantage. The re-design of our website was a significant milestone for our business and something we’d had trouble getting off the ground for various reasons. It became crucial to find someone who could translate the vision for our business into a professional, well-functioning website which adequately reflected our company. We placed a great deal of trust in Hannah at Eden Design to come up with a concept that conveyed the bold vision we have for our business. This was particularly difficult given that this job was only the initial refresh with further functionality and design elements to come later. It was a hefty brief with a tight timeframe. Hannah has a very professional approach to her work and I was impressed by how she went about scoping my needs for a logo and associated visuals. The Aquatic Centre Trust commissioned Hannah Faulke of Eden Design, to design artwork to incorporate tile names in the new Aquatic Centre.

Eden Design’s creative concept for the Kapiti Coast Airport Open Day collateral met the brief from Day1. The black and white tab imagery, reflecting the tail of an airplane and aligned to the black and green corporate colours of Air Chathams, translated extremely well into the wide range of materials being produced to promote the Open Day – from press ads and display material to digital imagery.
I really valued Hannah’s ability to quickly take into account existing brand colourways and photographic imagery, and work it into developing a clean, versatile design for the one-off event involving multiple partners’ brand interests. It’s an identity that has potential to work for future events of this kind.
When we decided earlier this year to open another bakery/cafe we felt it was time for a whole new look and feel for our shops. I must confess that it was quite an unnerving time putting our business in someone else’s hands for the first time, but Hannah was completely professional, and inspired confidence right from the first meeting. We asked Hannah to help us with a new name, logo, catch phrase, uniforms, store concept, pavement signs, shop signage – basically the works! She worked hard to find out exactly what we wanted to project to our customers, and worked the whole project around this. Quite simply we are absolutely thrilled with the results of Hannah’s work, and three weeks after opening our new outlet I am pleased to report that our customers are loving it also. Web Genius was recently contracted to carry out the online marketing component of a student recruitment campaign for the Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec), including social media, online advertising and email marketing. Hannah Faulke of Eden Design acted as art director and designer for the project and the quality of the results speak for themselves.
In her usual style, Hannah took the time early in the project to clearly understand WelTec's positioning, their objectives for the campaign, as well as the characteristics and mindset of the target market. Timeframes were tight because the website had to go live in conjunction with the printed media and marketing program. A big thank you for the awesome brochure. We struggled for many weeks trying to design something ourselves. Hannah did a great job designing a logo for my sheep and horse breeding business. Quite a challenge but she quickly got her design ideas in line and created a logo that I am very happy with.
